Asia is defintiely a tourist favorite. Asia is truly a land of diverse cultures and traditions. It’s the largest continent in the world. It’s a great tourist destination because the sights, sounds and tastes are truly unique. It’s one place that you can truly say that you can’t find anywhere else. If you’re planning to visit Asia sometime soon, here are a couple of destinations that you truly should not miss.

India. Home to the Taj Majal, this former British colony is rich in tradition and history. It is impressive to note that people of this county are able to merge new customs and practices from foreign visitors and trends from other states into their culture while still maintaining their own rituals and practices in place. Ancient temples, breathtaking sceneries, and amazing cuisine are but a few of the many attractions that this wonderful country has to offer.

India also offers its guests opportunities to go on safari on its marvelous vast lands, tropical and coniferous forests. Visitors would enjoy getting to experience close encounters with the wildlife that India is rich and well known for.

Indonesia. This country in Southeast Asia is considered to be one of the melting pots in Asia as the islands of Indonesia is known to have different ethnic groups that total 300 in number. And with the many islands that compose this great country, there are also quite a number of cultures and traditions that make up its people. Indonesian customs are said to be influenced by ways of the life of the Malay, Chinese. Indian, Arabic and even European. The most famous and probably the favorite vacation spot of tourists when they get to visit Indonesia are the beaches in the island of Bali.

Bali is said to be an island of ecstasy and pure bliss for people who have come to enjoy its sights and culture. Here you are provided with a barrage of beauty with its amazing beaches, wonderful waters, and great people. And if you’re big on parties and nightlife, this island truly doesn’t disappoint.

Philippines. The Philippines, with all it’s 7,107 islands is truly going to be an amazing experience. Enjoy the welcoming smiles and pleasant hospitality of the Filipinos as soon as you land on any of their islands. Amongst which you will find an eclectic collection of different culture treasures and natural wealth. They also have their own share of legendary beaches; the island paradise of Boracay is truly one island that you should never miss out on. Nature has worked its wonders by creating the luscious chocolate hills in the island of Bohol.

Another man-made wonder you will find in this culturally diverse country is the Banaue Rice Terraces, a feat of man that has truly left it’s onlookers with awe. Although it might not be much to look at in a map, but this country with all its islands has something to offer you; always.
